Professor Alex Costa

Professor Alex Costa

Professor Alex was born in Brasilia, Brazil. He began training Judo and Capoeira at the age of 7. He continued with both, even winning a State Championship in Capoeira, until he found Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 16. A few years later Prof Alex was offered a position in the United States teaching and competing in NYC.

Professor Alessandro

Professor Alessandro began training Jiu-Jitsu in Espirito Santo, Brazil. He has been a student under Professor Alex since 2008 and earned his black belt in 2016. His weekly No-Gi class on Wednesdays is a popular class among students due to the high level technique and practicality that is featured in his lessons.
Coach Ashley Proctor

Coach Ashley Proctor

Coach Ashley was born in Santa Clara, CA. In High School she earned varsity letters for Wrestling, Track, Cross Country, Lacrosse and Basketball. She began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in March of 2008, shortly after starting Boston University. She is a 6x IBJJF World Championship medalist.
